Stephan Olajide-Huesler is an investor, asset manager, and entrepreneur. He was born in Switzerland and educated at University of Zurich. In the 1990ies he co-managed one of the most successful funds in Asia. In 2002 he joined the world’s largest emerging market equity firm Genesis Investment. At the end of 2006, he felt the winds of change, sold his share and invested into media and e-commerce ventures. At heart a bottom up investor, he made a hobby of following economics and politics. As the crisis broke, Stephan sat down to collect the wisdom of some of the great thinkers of our time who had warned of the growing imbalances, aiming to amplify their unheard voices. Currently he lives in Zurich and advises asset, wealth and pension managers in risk management.
